Characters/Pairings: Harry/Nick.
Summary: Breaking her ankle because of an illegal hit gutted Nick. Coming back from time away and falling for the opposing team's new skater definitely made things better, though.
Notes: This is a roller derby story, so while there is some injury and rough play, it's described vaguely and only happens in context with the games, although Louis does injure Nick on purpose (and more than actually intended). There's a mention of dysphoria - one of the main characters is a trans woman - but only to avoid it. I'm happy to answer any questions about content in the comments/messages/wherever.
Anything correct in this story is because of the WFTDA rules and because I took the advice of the person who looked this over in advance (ilu onthehill - the story wouldn't be what it is without you). There were purposeful creative liberties taken in a couple places.
