author's notes

I spent the better part of last year outlining and prepping my Big Bang for this year. I spent several months this year writing it. The trouble was, I wrote the sequel to last year's Big Bang, and until I asked one of the mods a couple of weeks before the rough draft due date, I had no idea I couldn't write a sequel that didn't stand on its own. Oops. (If you liked last year's story, don't worry! I fully intend to finish and post it before the end of the year.)

This story was actually supposed to be a birthday present for [livejournal.com profile] puchuupoet. When it approached Big Bang length, I wrote another fic instead. Still, this story wouldn't exist without [livejournal.com profile] puchuupoet for a million different reasons, so it's dedicated to her regardless. You're the best!

If you didn't take a look at the soundtrack, the fic's title comes from "In the Glass" by OK Go.

More thanks to:

-The wonderful [personal profile] cee_m for her stunning artwork and patience with my insecurities. Please comment on her post if you haven't!

-[personal profile] tsuxavier for betaing and cheerleading even while finishing and graduating from nursing school. (Seriously. Rock star.) Anything wonky or wrong in the story as posted is my fault.

-[livejournal.com profile] rahnekat1 for her continued awesomeness and support.

-All of my in-person family and friends, and my flist, rlist, and Twitter followers for putting up with me when I was a stressed-out ball of wacky, particularly when I did my last-minute story switch. I'm sure I was annoying, but no one said a word about it. Thanks!

-[livejournal.com profile] wendy and [livejournal.com profile] thehighwaywoman, the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang mods, for once again being kind and patient and hard-working.

-Anyone who's read, commented, and/or left kudos. I hope you liked it!
