May 2011 and beyond

• My help_japan estimates were overly generous; I'm still working on the stories. I'm hoping I'll have at least one of them done by the end of the week.


• SPN Big Bang became...interesting in April. (Long story short: my sequel didn't stand-alone and wasn't eligible for the challenge, I melted down, and then I wrote a completely new story in a little over a week.) But everything's submitted, so I'll be getting an artist and a posting date in the next week or so. Let the nerve-wracking editing begin!


• Probably in the next few days, I'll be signing up for bandombigbang Wave Two. The best part: I have the first third or so of the story already written. /o\


• I have several little (and not-so-little) stories half-started, and I wouldn't be surprised if I finished at least two other stories by the end of the month. One of them, if I finish it, will post before Friday.


• A fest update: I'm not doing spn_summergen this year and the sharp_teeth prompt fell through. But I am going to try to pick up something in the 3W4DW bandom commentfic meme and in the Female character trope fest. And I'll possibly do kink_bingo again this year.


• My long fic update: I want both the finished version of "Beast in Repose" and the "Every Little Song That You Know" sequel (see the Big Bang point) finished and posted by the end of the summer. I think it's possible, but it depends on how my original fic projects go. Still, they're a priority, if not my main one.
