What a wonderful story! I thought the style and overall tone were lovely, clean and understated. Just a very enjoyable read. And at first I was sad that the imprinting had disappeared but then this line happened:

But when I met up with Bella again, maybe I did feel something. On my own terms.

and I was glad it had gone.

I tend to be a mono-shipper - I love Bella with Alice - but this pairing and the premise intrigued me enough that I wanted to check it out. Obviously, I enjoyed it immensely and am half tempted to look for more stories about these two (the only thing holding me back is the fear that this story has spoiled me). But thank you so much for sharing this! I will definitely be reading it again.
