Author's notes

Normally, I write notes nearly as long as the story. (I just wrote some author's notes that were around 1000 words for a fic less than 2000 words. Verbosity and navel-gazing is not a problem for me.) This time, anything I could say is pretty obvious: Leah is one of my favorite characters in the Twilight series, and I wanted there to be more femmeslash, especially considering how female-dominated the fandom is. More interesting notes have been scrubbed from my brain by other writing projects, but feel free to ask me questions about the story, if anyone's so inclined.

The day we watched Eclipse together for the first time (and the day after, of course) will always be super memorable for reasons having nothing to do with the fic, but the seeds of the story also sprouted around then.
